At Disney buffets or family style services, there is no charge for your child under age 3. You are welcome to get them their own plate, there is no need to share directly from yours. If you are using a Disney dining plan during your stay, you are not required to purchase a dining plan for your child under age 3. At quick service locations (which include resort food courts), you are welcome to share food with your child under 3, but if you wanted a meal for them, you would have to pay for it. If you have another child in your party, there is generally enough food in one kids meal to share between two children.
If you are visiting with a child under age 3, keep your eyes out for Power Packs offered at some quick service locations and food courts across Disney property. These prepackaged meals vary, but usually include a fruit or veggie, yogurt, goldfish or crackers, and a small dessert. Depending on the location, they retail for around $6. Our favorite thing about the Power Packs is that leftover food can easily be taken with you to eat later in the day.
